How is the data sourced?

Our data is sourced through multiple channels, namely, Credit Bureaus, Public Domain Information and Data Acquisitions.
We adhere to all legislation and our data is de-duplicated against the National Do Not Contact List hosted by the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa to ensure that those contacts who have opted out are removed from campaigns that we run. What about the Consumer Protection Act of 2008 (CPA)?

The Consumer Protection Act is an opt out law. There are 4 things you must always remember when running any data campaign:Always de-duplicate your list against the National Do Not Contact List. This list can be found on www.dmasa.org
Always make sure when you are communicating to the database (via SMS/E-mail/AVM/etc.) that you give the viewer the option to opt out Never send marketing communication outside of working hours, public holidays and on weekends If a user does opt out, make sure that he/she is immediately put on a suppression list and never marketed to again

What if there is a complaint?

3 Way Marketing has a structured and rigid complaints handling process. All complaints will be sent to a dedicated 3 Way Marketing complaints handling consultant, who will deal with the client in question.Feedback will be given back to the client as soon as the issue has been resolved.

How is the data stored?

All data is stored on central in-house servers in the 3 Way Marketing premises.
All data is backed up on the cloud as well as on other servers which are hosted internationally.
Data is maintained and cleaned monthly to ensure the data is as up to date as possible – The cleaner the data the better it will perform.
